We are looking for a Cologne based Manager Sourcing Analytics & Intelligence DACH (m/f) to provide superior analytics and insights for our sourcing customers.

We help global corporations to build a best-in-class hotel program by combining strategic procurement consulting services with cutting-edge technology and analytics. Our global sourcing consultants manage the entire hotel procurement cycle from benchmarking, rate negotiation to implementation, and ongoing optimization – all the while managing global projects with customer stakeholders and consultant peers around the world. Our Sourcing Service has grown significantly in the past five years, and today we help more than 150 large global corporates including Google, China Mobile, Hitachi, Alibaba, DHL, Volkswagen, WorldBank, Oath and Siemens. As global leader in hotel travel management, our sourcing solution is at the forefront of our innovation agenda.
The challenge you are up for
- Be the analytical lead for the hotel sourcing projects for the region
- Manage strategically the analytical process (from data acquisition, data management, analyses and insight generation) in collaboration with sourcing consultants of the region
- Continuously improve and standardize analytics – e.g. identification of gaps, bugs, new requirements from consultants and customers
- Enable, train and ensure analytical quality of work for consultants
- Perform strategic analyses for key projects and customers (e.g. to understand customer situation, their spend patterns and derive optimization potentials)
- Develop insights for both customers and hotel suppliers and derive recommendations for the sourcing process
- Be the sparring partner to the regional director on sourcing analytics
The commitment you bring
- A degree in the fields of (Business) Mathematics, Informatics, Economics or similar
- Initiative, result-orientation as well as flexibility
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Knowledge of SQL and running standardized queries
- Good communication skills and ability to train others
- Fluency in English and German, both spoken and written
- Experience in hotel or procurement is a plus
