Global Head of International Events (m/f)


We are looking for a Global Head of International Events (m/f), ideally based in our HQ in Cologne (or one of our european offices) to put HRS into the center of attention in corporate travel industry.

The challenge you are up for

  • Develop the event strategy centrally while landing and executing it locally, inspiring our local teams to deliver more to amaze our customers
  • Lead a small team of event managers as well as organize, coordinate and follow-up of HRS local and global events
  • Plan and manage all event operations
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
  • Be the interface between sales & marketing and product teams
  • Manage external service providers, as well as contact persons for partners, participants and sponsors
  • Coordinate all operations (construction and negotiation with suppliers and onsite planning)
  • Analyze the event success and prepare reports
  • Drive concept innovation and execution in all events

The commitment you bring 

  • Several years of experience in event management or marketing, especially in strategy development, conception and execution of complex events
  • Project management skills and an outgoing and engaging personality
  • Organizational talent, resilience and autonomous working methods
  • Cost and quality awareness as also negotiation skills
  • Structured, creative and solution-oriented mentality
  • Teamplayer, readiness for action, open handling
  • Willingness to travel globally (60%)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, (further languages are a plus)
