Besides our international introduction days and individual career paths, you can benefit from our annual development reviews, where we discuss the personalized Objectives and Key results as well as from our internal job board or our employee satisfaction survey.
International Introduction Days
Taking the first steps: Next to local Onboardings we warmly welcome our new colleagues from DACH and our international leadership colleagues at the International Introduction Days at our Cologne headquarter. Every department will give a brief presentation and by visiting the offices you will get insights into your colleagues’ work at the headquarters. A joint dinner in one of Cologne’s brewery pubs is also part of the program and is a good chance for international networking.
Individual Career Path
Your individual career path is extremely important to us. By defining roles and job levels we show our employees how they can develop within the company. At the HRS Group we are working within an dynamic and progressive environment marked by change and innovation. Our career paths shall help to further develop yourself and the company. You can always plan your next steps with your line manager, who is also responsible for giving you feedback on highlights and downsides of your role and for making clear, if there are good chances for you.
Training and Seminars
We invest in your personal skills as well as in your professional skills and offer tailor-made training opportunities. Therefore all HRS employees have access to our training portal, where your direct leader can register the employees for a lot of different training and seminars. It is divided in different training areas, e.g. IT-Knowledge, Leadership, Methodology Competence or Personal Competence.
Corporate and Hotel Solutions Academy
Within our Corporate and Hotel Solutions Academy we offer specific training sessions in order to develop a global standardized product knowledge and sales competences of our Corporate and Hotel Solutions Sales staff. The academy consists of three different pillars: Our Solutions Training provides you with detailed and advanced knowledge about the different solutions which HRS offers to the corporate customer. Secondly you get to know our Internal Tools & Systems and their influence on the daily work. And in the third place there is a Soft Skill Training – Based on a HRS business case study you will train questioning techniques, adapting your sales arguments on the customer´s personality type or how to negotiate the best for HRS.
Our onboarding for new HRS employees takes about 6 months. During this period, you have three feedback reviews with your manager – after 30, 90 and 150 days. The annual development review is done after your probation.
Our basis for all development measures is the annual performance review, which is standardized for all employees. It aims at influencing the working habits and promoting personal skills and HRS values. This is a chance for our employees to provide feedback and make a difference. This review consists of three success factors: a conclusive evaluation of the employee, transparent and clearly formulated feedback and binding agreements.
At the beginning of every business year, we define Objectives and Key results (OKRs) with all our employees as a key for your annual performance in the HRS Group. The targets should help you to head into the right direction, encourage to be successful and directly influence the company’s targets. To ensure, that the targets are expedient, it is essential for us that they are transparent, scheduled and holistic and in line with the corporate strategy.
Asking for your opinion – HRS Group Echo
We conduct our employee satisfaction survey HRS GROUP ECHO on a regular basis. In the survey you get the chance to tell us how you evaluate the HRS Group as an employer, your team and your supervisors. Topics are for example Personal contribution & targets, Cooperation in the team & company or Work environment & tasks. We use the results of the survey to develop cross-departmental measures to improve employee satisfaction. The survey allows our employees to bring their own ideas to the table and to realize significant change.
Internal Job Board
To be informed about open positions we have our own internal job board. Thus our colleagues can consider what is matching their interests and qualifications best. After preparation, you have the possibility to talk to your line manager and explain him your ambitions to advance your career and develop yourself. Depending on the situation your line manager will get in contact with Human Resources.
